Denmark and Horsens just got a Latin Jazz Festival. Actually the first and only one in Scandinavia. The organization behind the biggest Danish Latin Jazz Festival consists of different highly engaged and enthusiastic musicians, venues and organizers, who wishes to promote and communicate the story of Latin Jazz, presenting some of the best musicians from Cuba, Brasil, USA and Europe. Latin Jazz is a genre with its roots in primarily Cuban and African rythms and harmonies. I have been raised with this Latin musical tradition, and many of my favorite musicians are huge idols in Mex-ico, Latin-America and USA amongst others; Paquito D’Rivera, Arturo Sandoval and many more
