Nils Gröndahl is a Danish violionist and noisemaker. He is simply one man on the stage with his violin and many loop pedals. In front of the audience he builds up walls of sound and noise with his amplifiers. He is trapped in his endless repetition and the variations of the repetitions. On his knees he cries a primal scream to break the wall of sound as a musical and ritual cleansing. It is the breakdown of the distance between the man on the stage and the audience. Some say he plays the violin as a guitar - he himself says that distorted chords and the noisy rock sound fascinate him. Gröndahl is always in search of new sounds and aspires to finding new ways of playing his instrument....

Nils Gröndahl is a fascinating live performer and has besides his longtime commitment to Under Byen, performed with Danish bands such as Broken Twin, Jacob Bellens and Kellermensch. In 2014 he released his solo debut album "Endlos Routinen" .
this month he will begin and end with a solo performance, the first will be work in progress, the final will be new music composed during the residency moth. he will also perform with the great Maria Laurette Friis and Anders Holst!!!

2PIANOS duo consists of two great polish pianists based in copenhagen. The duo presents material based around discovering sonic possibilities of two pianos while improvisation as well as their own compositions. make sure you hear this very interesting instrumentation played by two strong personalities.

Ola Paulson is a mandagsklubben favorite, known for several great performances at the club. he lives in malmø, is the leader of the konvoj ensemble and has collaborated with lotte anker, evan parker and augusti fernandez. This time he presents a very exiting trio which has also recently released an album to rave reviews
