"Jan Harbeck Quartet - In the Still of the Night" won the prize "Best Danish Jazz Record", and their albums has been among the best selling Danish jazz recordings in recent years.
Jan Harbeck received the honorable Bent Jaedig Prize in 2011 and was nominated New Danish Jazz Act at Danish Music Awards.


Jan Harbeck er i dag en af Danmarks mest efterspurgte saxofonister med flere priser i bagagen, bl.a. en grammy for årets jazz-CD og den prestigefulde Bent Jædig Pris i 2011. Han høres med en lang række orkestre, bl.a. Ernie Wilkins Almost Big Band, Niels Jørgen Steens Monday Night Big Band, Tivolis Big Band. Til denne koncert på Kaffesalonen kan man høre ham i tæt samspil med hans faste makkere Eske Nørrelykke på kontrabas og Peter Leth på trommer.
