Together with his band from Canada and Scotland, Ewan Macintyre weaves his own blend of folk pop traditions. Hailed as “a welcome moment in the future of Scottish music”, live shows feature beautiful string arrangements, ripping solos, soaring harmonies and heartfelt lyrical content. The band will tour across Canada, the UK and northern Europe promoting Ewans latest single “Champagne in Heaven”. Written and performed for the funeral of Ewans grandfather in October 2016, the song is a rounded pensive perspective on life. Themes of time, love, loss and adventure prevail and are dealt with through a mixture of sincerity and humour.
