The omnipresent jazz guitarist and composer Morten Haugshøj has gathered some of the nation's finest jazz musicians in a new and exciting super group, who will be recording a new CD with Haugshøj's music. Haugshøj has previously released three CDs as a solo artist: Ojspremtikken (2004), Clarity (2010), and, most recently, Art Break (2014). During Aarhus Jazz Festival, you will be able to see the first live performances of the new band, which needs to be thoroughly broken in. Expect concerts with intense, concentrated, and intimate moods, where new and exciting stories shall be conquered and examined. They will toy and experiment with what will mainly be new music. Intens, koncentreret og nærværende jazz. Den allestedsværende jazzguitarist og komponist Morten Haugshøj har samlet nogle af landets ypperste jazzmusikere i en ny, spændende supergruppe, der til efteråret indspiller en ny cd med Haugshøjs musik. Haugshøj har tidligere udgivet tre cd´er i eget navn: Ojspremtikken (2004), Clarity (2010) og senest Art Break (2014). Til koncerterne under Aarhus Jazz Festival kan du opleve de første live-optrædener fra den nye gruppe, der skal spilles godt og grundigt sammen. Du kan forvente nogle koncerter med en intens, koncentreret og nærværende atmosfære, hvor nye, spændende horisonter skal erobres og kigges på.
