Among our most memorable recent successes are of course the shows with Debbie Sledge with the Niels Lan Doky Trio ("Debbie Sledge sings Nina Simone") and Camille Sledge with the Ken Linh Doky Trio and ("Camille Sledge sings Aretha Franklin"). Now you will get a chance to hear both bands on the same concert in a spectacular double bill, inspired by the iconic song "We Are Family" that Debbie Sledge released with her group Sister Sledge. The song was of course a global hit upon its release in 1979 but it has since then also become one of the most enduring songs of all time, and a strong symbol of unity and family values. Debbie Sledge and Niels Lan Doky, who have been very close friends and musical associates since 2015, both come from musical families, and it didn't take long for their respective children to hook up also. Debbie's daughter Camille's collaboration with Niels' son Ken has been and continues to be an extremely fruitful and exciting one. ...
