The Kitasewi Band, formerly known as the Jazzminions, is founded by Associate Professor Dr. Pathorn Srikaranonda as an experimental band for his undergraduate classical music students at Kasetsart University. It grows into a powerhouse band, specializing in traditional jazz style and the music of the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej.


The Band has toured the world over. They found their fanbase in Spain, Netherlands, Belguim, Sweden, and especially Denmark, where they perform annually.


The band is renamed "Kitasewi" to honour the jazz legacy of Professor Manrat Srikaranonda, a pioneer in jazz music in Thailand who helped shaped jazz and popular music to what we know today....
