You know that feeling when you hear a voice that you can’t let go of? A voice that oozes of greatness, intimacy, and a voice that need to be heard on the big stages. Such a voice has Ms Melissa been blessed with and we haven’t been able to forget her since the first time we heard her sing. Melissa & Her Soul Knight’s is a relatively young but well-established group within jazz, soul and funk. Despite their short career the group have already played several venues and festivals in Denmark as well as internationally. Among other, Copenhagen and Aarhus Jazz Festival, Galerie Épisodique in Paris, Pumpehuset and many more. We can’t wait to see their display of talent being beautifully executed in the legendary surroundings of Jazzhus Montmartre....

Kender du det, når man hører en stemme, man bare ikke kan give slip på? En stemme, der emmer af storhed, intimitet, og som skal høres på de store scener. Sådan en stemme har Ms. Melissa, og vi har ikke kunnet give slip på hende, siden første gang vi hørte hende synge. Ms. Melissa & Her Soul Knight’s er et ungt, men veletableret band, både inden for jazz og soul/funk genren. I deres relative korte karriere har de allerede spillet på flere spillesteder og festivaller både i ind- og udland. Blandt andet kunne man opleve bandet på: Copenhagen Jazz festival, Århus Jazzfestival, Musik over Gudhjem, Galerie Épisodique i Paris, Pumpehuset, Sofiekælderen, Børneteatrets jazzklub, Svanekegården, Mojo og mange flere. Vi glæder os til at se dem udfolde deres talenter i de legendariske rammer i Jazzhus Montmartre.
