Pianisten Carsten Dahl har allerede skrevet sig ind i historiebøgerne som en musiker af et helt særligt format; hans intuitive spil og forrygende fantasi er endeløs og enestående. Bassisten Bo Stief har været Riels trofaste følgesvend gennem alle årene og er fortrolig med alle jazzens utallige nuancer og har en særlig ro og dybt swingende fornemmelse for, hvad der skal spilles hvornår. Trio får selskab af ingen mindre end Cæcilie Norby, som vi roligt kan betegne som en af Danmarks absolut bedste jazz-sangere.
